I have always loved the original image of Boris Karlof as "Frankenstein" or Frankenstein's monster, it makes me laugh inside when ever it happens to come up. I've wanted to paint him for over twenty years. I am currently working on a solo exhibit of portraiture, consisting mostly of large works. This one is especially effective on a large scale, I showed it to my friend, Regina yesterday and she laughed, which was what I had hoped for, it made my day.
