This was a most memorable morning, it was so bright and sunny, the newly fallen snow just glowed like icing on a cake. We all celebrated the new visual delight, painting all day and even as the weather began to turn we hung in there and made snow paintings and one painter made a late evening study that fell in the road and got run over, much to the amazement of all, it held up and was not destroyed and now when we visit our friends with the flattened painting it makes me laugh remembering that day when nothing could go wrong.
