Oil on 12"x16" panel. Midway between El Capitan and Half Dome, Sentinel is guardian of the Valley's South side. 1500' North face looms over Leidig Meadow. I remember the feeling of awe in it's mysterious presence, painting this rock was a special gift from life, I savored every minute.
